* Patients with mega hernias or complete indirect inguinal hernia.
* Patients with obstructed or strangulated inguinal hernia.
* Patients with abdominal malignancy \& cirrhosis with end stage liver disease.
* Pregnancy or planning to become pregnant.
* History of forced hernial reduction.
