Inclusion Criteria
* major cancer surgery in the General Surgery, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology departments
Exclusion Criteria
* recent myocardial infarction
* history of cerebrovascular events
* prior neck surgery,
* cervical disc herniation
* spinal cord injury,
* sudden vision loss,
* deep vein thrombosis,
* refusal to participate.
