* type 2 diabetes

Exclusion Criteria

* insulin treatment
* severe chronic diabetic complications
* liver dysfunction
* kidney dysfunction
* inflammatory diseases
* heart failure
* myocardial ischemia
* major cardiovascular event history
* physical exercise more than current guidelines for type 2 diabetes
* inability to exercise
