* diagnosed as hemiplegia and diplegia
* Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) levels I or II
* spasticity grade of 1 or I+ on the modified Ashworth Scale
Exclusion Criteria
* uncontrolled seizures
* acute illness
