Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria
* patients who underwent an acute ankle sprain
* patients with a surgery results of the sprained ankle
Exclusion Criteria
* patients with a previous history of ankle surgery
* patients with ankle tumors
* patients with a previous history of rheumatoid arthritis
