* History of smoking within the last 5 years
* Daily use of antioxidant supplements (e.g., Vitamin C/E, selenium, beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin, or ginkgo biloba)
* Orthopedic or rheumatological conditions that would interfere with cycle use
