* clinical exam indicates vaginal hysterectomy is feasible
* no major concomitant surgery
* able to complete questionnaires in German
Exclusion Criteria
* major concomitant surgery (e.g., for incontinence or prolapse)
* clinical exam indicating vaginal hysterectomy not feasible
* contraindication for surgery or laparoscopy
