Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

* age \>18 years old
* ulcerative colitis patients without symptoms for at least 1 year
* ulcerative colitis patients who undergo colonoscopy for surveillance

Exclusion Criteria

* subjects who had abdominal surgery
* pregnant or breast feeding
