Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

* Cardiac surgery patients with postoperative edema of the upper limbs due to water overload

Exclusion Criteria

* absence of edema,
* previous mastectomy and lymphadenectomy,
* surgery or fractures or infection of the upper limb,
* previous or current deep vein thrombosis.
