Eligibility Criteria

Check the participation requirements, including inclusion and exclusion rules, age limits, and whether healthy volunteers are accepted.

Inclusion Criteria

* age between 18-65 years
* intentionally injured in community violence.
* admitted to a Level 1 trauma center
* able to provide voluntary informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

* under the age of 18 or over the age of 55.
* not fluent in the English language
* patients with suspected mental retardation or active psychosis as determined by brief clinical screen.
* patients currently in legal detention status
