* Visual loss
* At least 18 years of age
Exclusion Criteria
* Macular hole post traumatism or associated with retinal detachment
* Diabetic retinopathy
* Glaucoma
* Age-related macular degeneration
* Myopia \> 6 diopters
* Preoperative pseudophakia
