* patients admitted to emergency department for a diagnosis of proven or suspected intraabdominal infection requiring surgery
Exclusion Criteria
* health-care associated intraabdominal infection
* abdominal trauma
* patient under guardianship
* opt out consent
* patient already enrolled in the present study
