* Availability of pre-cardiopulmonary bypass trans-oesophageal echo images allowing measurement of the peak systolic global longitudinal strain
Exclusion Criteria
* Preoperative critical state
* Emergent/salvage surgery
* Heart transplant surgery
* Left ventricular assist device implantation
