* BMI \>23 kg/m2
* abdominal circumference \> 90 cm in males or \>85 cm in females
Exclusion Criteria
* diabetes
* any cardiovascular disease,

* thyroid disease

* liver disease (bilirubin level \>2 mg/dl)
