* physically active male volunteers
* soldiers of the Army School of Physical Education of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
* young men

Exclusion Criteria

* any musculoskeletal disorder in the lower limbs
* neurological or cardiovascular disease experienced previous to or reported during the study.
