It is the goal of this study adherence and quality of life in a population of people suffering from schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder and to analyze if these factors are influenced by treatment, support, social services, and residential treatment. Inclusion Criteria

* Schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
* 18 - 65 years old
* treated in the PDGR within the past 19 years

Exclusion Criteria

* organic brain disorder
* alcohol or drug dependence
* low intelligence
* unable to give consent
* no legal competency
* lacking knowledge of German language
* current psychiatric inpatient treatment
