PRIMARY outcome

Timeframe: at 5 years follow up

Population: The discrepancy between numbers of patients analysed and the numbers presented in Participant flow is due to patients who had bilateral MoM hip replacement at the 5-year follow-up were excluded in addition to those lost to follow up, who had revision surgery or died before 5-years follow up.
