Participant Flow

After enrollment, each respondent was contacted via telephone by a specialist incontinence nurse or general practitioner. A telephone interview was conducted with the objectives of confirming the symptom diagnosis (ie, UUI or MUI), reconfirming the absence of exclusion criteria, and ensuring that the participant was fully informed about the study. Of the 142 enrolled,19 participants were found ineligible at the telephone interview.
