Participant Flow

82 individuals responded to study announcements and were pre-screened by telephone, of which 25 were deemed ineligible (due to inadequate diving experience). An additional 15 individuals declined to participate (primarily due to scheduling conflicts). 42 divers and chamber inside attendants signed informed consent and participated in the study.

All participants signing informed consent continued to group assignment.
