Inclusion Criteria

* any diagnosis for which colonoscopy is indicated

Exclusion Criteria

* ileus
* severe colitis/toxic megacolon
* gastric retention
* bowel perforation
* gastrointestinal obstruction
* gastroparesis that precludes oral bowel preparation
* pregnant or lactating women
* allergy to polyethylene glycol.
* unable to give consent
