Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

* injury distal to flexor and extensor tendon insertions
* crush, avulsion, amputation, or penetrating injury to the fingertip
* isolated injury, within two weeks

Exclusion Criteria

* operative fixation required
* unable to participate in rehab
