* symmetrical rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
* \<= 2 years worth of symptoms
* rheumatoid factor seropositivity
Exclusion Criteria
* Inability to see rheumatologist, complete questionnaires (lack of compliance)
* \>2 years worth of symptoms
